Billing questions

How do I find out if my plan is accepted?+

Call the office with your insurance card handy. Plans and networks change, and the staff will confirm your specific plan before your first visit.

Do you take Medicare?+

Yes. Medicare patients are welcome, including for annual wellness visits.

What is the difference between a co-pay and a deductible?+

A co-pay is a set amount you pay at a visit. A deductible is the amount you pay toward covered care each year before your plan starts sharing costs. Both are set by your plan, not by the office.

What is an Explanation of Benefits?+

A statement from your insurer showing what was billed, what the plan paid and what you may owe. It is not a bill.

Can I be seen without insurance?+

Please call the office to ask about self-pay visits.
